Before the Alps burn down

Apocalyptic stench this could be,

Blitzkrieg, madness, attack gone bad,

half-Nazi lighting house, barn, shed --

Auschwitz, furnaces, the dead,

intent on flames, fire licking Alps,

glacier, ice  -- or less complex,

shame on depth -- stretched breasts,

ignition, heat, tightly pressed,

alpine meadow, private fire spreads --

pointy summits above, make sense.

Literary critics quick to say,

breasts, again, in every poem,

substance gone except for death.

They hope to burn the Alps one day.
